Classes are 15 weeks
First 10 weeks will consist of theory and lab
Last 5 week will consist of externship (104 hours required)
Traditional Classroom Course available
Each class will consist of 8 students
SM School of Opportunity will provide the following
1. Classroom
2. Fully equipped skills lab
3. Hands on clinical externship at a facility selected by program coordinator
4. Mock certification exam/ skills evaluation check off
Credentials Awarded
Upon completion of the class and skills check off, students will receive a certificate of completion and earn the right to test for clinical medical assistant certification exam AND certified phlebotomy technician exam with NHA (National Healthcareer Association)
